9th-10th March 2023: ISOF hosts schools to spread knoweledge on Circular Economy.

On the occasion of the event “Chemical tales on Circular Economy”, several Institutes of the National Research Council (CNR) will open their doors to scholar students. The aim is to guide young generations closer to the world of research. The event will take place in 13 Italian cities, from the 8th to the 10th of March and is part of the range of appointments born to celebrate the centenary anniversary of the CNR. The Department of Chemical Sciences and Materials Technologies (DSCTM) of the CNR will promote the event for the Network of “The Language of Research” (https://ldr-network.bo.cnr.it/) at the Institutes of Biella, Milan, Genoa, Trieste, Treviso, Padua, Bologna, Faenza, Florence, Rome, Bari, Palermo, Sassari.

9th-10th March in the Research Area of Bologna.

The program actively involved thousands of students through lessons, laboratory visits, series of “games”, shows and activities related to the themes and challenges of sustainability, ecological transition, health and well-being, nutrition, energy, green chemistry, circular economy and innovative technologies. ISOF and ISMAR organised the event on 9th-10th of March 2023 in the CNR Research Area. 240 students and teachers from middle and high schools were successfully involved in interactive lessons, lab experiments, serious games and visits into labs. All of this was possible thanks to the collaboration among more than 15 CNR researchers and 20 students from Liceo Scientifico Roiti of Ferrara who acted as “science ambassadors” towards youster pupils during the event.
