How to catch a Li-ion: new materials for Energy Storage

In the world of tomorrow, storing energy will be as important as generating it. We mostly use lithium batteries, but lithium is not an abundant material and it is not sure if the current production can support the massive electrification of cars planned for 2035. Scientists are developing new alternative, visionary solutions to solve tomorrow’s energy challenges.

Join us on Thursday, March for the 23rd K.EY, The Energy Transition Expo, to talk about materials for energy storage.

K.EY is Europe’s leading event dedicated to technologies, services and integrated solutions for energy efficiency and renewable energy, a comprehensive showcase of technologies, integrated solutions and services able to drive the energy transition towards a carbon-neutral economy. In 2022, the event attracted more than 16,000 participants, with 293 companies.

The seminar will be presented by Vincenzo Palermo, Director of ISOF, with the title:

“A caccia di Li-ioni: nuove sfide e materiali nanotecnologici per batterie e supercapacitori”

(How to hunt Li-ions: new challenges and nanotechnology materials for batteries and supercapacitors)

Thursday, March 23rd 2023, h. 14.30-15.30. Diotallevi Room, South Hall, 1st floor, Fiera di Rimini.
