The main research activity of Alberto Zanelli deals with the electrochemistry of conducting polymers, oligormers and organic molecules for functional biomimetic materials, organic electronics, photovoltaics and sensors. He is actually involved in some project of science popularization such as “Raw matters ambassadors at school” and “Il linguaggio della ricerca“.
From 2019 to 2021, Alberto Zanelli is mamber of the bord of the group for the dissemination of chemistry for Italian Chemical Society
From 2000 to 2002, he was an industrial hygienist for the Italian insurance for occupational diseases injuries.
From 1992 to 1999, at Palermo University and at Bologna University, Alberto Zanelli studied polymeric supercapacitors, lithium-polymer batteries and organic electrochromic devices.
Alberto Zanelli received the Ph.D.in analytical chemistry in 1996, and the graduation in chemistry in 1993, both cum laude, at Bologna University.
