‘Ensure access to water and sanitation for all (Sustainable development Goal 6, United Nations)’
Life-Remembrance will develop innovative water filters for the removal of emerging contaminants in water including PFAS. Sorbents deriving from re-valued industrial wastes of the production of polysulfone hollow fiber membranes (M. Melucci, M. Navacchia patent EP3208241) will be scaled up and validated in potabilization plants and Point-of-Use devices. The joint project CNR-ISOF (Dr.ssa M. Melucci)- Medica spa (Dr.ssa L. Bocchi) – involves water suppliers and domestic treatment plants producers.
