Born in 1993, I obtained my Master Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the University of Florence (Italy) in 2017 (summa cum laude). During my MSc thesis project regarding the "Development of nanoparticles systems for the organic molecules delivery through the blood-brain barrier", completed under the supervision of Prof. Cristina Nativi, I spent 5 months at the Magnetic Resonance European Centre (CERM), under the supervision of Prof. Paola Turano, and 3 months at the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department, under the supervision of Prof. Paola Mura, both located in Florence. The aim of the project was to develop nanocarriers for the delivery of an anti-Parkinson agent in SNC through the blood-brain barrier.
In 2020, I received my PhD in Biomolecular Chemistry from the University of Grenoble (France) with a thesis on the "Engineering of Biomolecular Systems for Anti-Tumoral Immunotherapy", under the supervision of Prof. Olivier Renaudet. The aim of the project was to develop several Antibody-Recruiting Molecules, able to recruit and hijack endogenous antibodies against cancer cells, and to mediate immune clearance of tumors.
In 2021, I achieved a Postdoctoral position at the National Research Council (CNR) of Bologna (Italy), in the frame of the BIOPHOTOMICS project, which relies on the "Study of animal and human red blood cell membranes through a combined approach of bio-photonic and lipidomic for the diagnosis of pathologies”, under the supervision of Prof. Carla Ferreri.
