BiographySenior Researcher with a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry, author of more than 130 scientific papers and 120 conference contributions on biomolecular damage caused by radical stress, as well as structural analyses by using Raman spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging. Member of numerous scientific committees, she has extensive experience in Education, particularly in outreach activities for schools, and in developing CNR serious games. She has received several awards for innovation in education, including nomination for the EIT Awards 2018 (ranked 2nd out of 38 candidates), the Paul Harris Fellow 2022 award (Rotary International), and the Marotta Medal 2024 (SCI). Leader of the CNR network “The Language of Research,” since 2016 she has coordinated and participated in more than 25 national and European projects, mainly focused on sustainability and the circular economy.
