BiographySenior Researcher at ISOF-CNR in Bologna. Having graduated in Chemistry from the University of Bologna, she has built her career in the field of functionalised oligothiophene-based materials for optoelectronics and bioimaging. She specialises in the synthesis of diagnostic agents and nanomaterials for drug delivery. Her current research focuses on biopolymers (keratin, fibroin and polysaccharides) for applications in biomedicine and dermocosmetics. She is co-founder of the spin-off Kerline (2017), which is active in the extraction and commercialisation of high-molecular-weight keratin.
