Palermo Vincenzo

Senior research fellow at CNR, writer and science communicator, active in the field of materials science. After graduating with honours in Industrial Chemistry, he worked in the Netherlands, Sweden and Canada, with leadership roles in European research projects. Author of 220+ publications with 13,000+ citations (h-index 57) together with major industrial partners (Airbus, Leonardo, BASF, Nokia, etc.). Winner of the FEMS Lecturer Award from the Federation of European Materials Societies and the Research Award from the Italian Chemical Society. Director of ISOF from 2021 to 2025.
