Manet Ilse Gert

Ilse GJ Manet graduated in Chemistry from KUL (Belgium) and obtained her PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Bologna in 1998, with a thesis entitled

She studies the noncovalent interactions of organic molecules with diverse hosts such as cyclodextrins, serum albumin (as a model protein), and quadruplex DNA, which are of interest for biomedical applications. She is an expert in confocal fluorescence imaging for the study of novel materials and biological systems.
