BiographyNeurobiologist with a PhD in Nanoscience for Medicine and the Environment from the University of Bologna, carried out at the Glial Engineering and Interfaces laboratory (ISOF) as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) fellow. She holds a Master of Research (MRes) in Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham, UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece where she completed her Bachelor’s thesis at the Medical Microbiology Laboratory of the Hellenic Pasteur Institute.

ResearchMember of the Glial Engineering and Interfaces laboratory, her research focuses on nervous and glial cells of the CNS and PNS, using advanced technologies and materials for stimulation, recording, and interfacing with cellular systems.
