Baschieri Andrea

Andrea Baschieri was born in Modena in 1985. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Products, Materials and Processes for Industrial Chemistry in 2009 and a PhD in Chemical Sciences (XXV cycle) in 2013 at the University of Bologna. After academic experience as a research fellow at the University of Bologna and the Politecnico di Milano, and as a fixed-term researcher (RTDa) at the University of L’Aquila, he joined ISOF-CNR as a researcher in 2020. Since 2023, he has held the position of Senior Researcher. He has published over 75 articles in ISI-indexed journals.

Design, synthesis, and characterization of organic ligands for luminescent transition metal complexes, with applications in photocatalysis and optoelectronic devices. Development of novel antioxidant systems and in-depth investigation of radical processes and mechanisms.
