BiographyDegree in Chemistry from the University of Ferrara (1990) and PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Ferrara (1995). Since 2001, he has been a CNR researcher (level III) in the Ferrara section of the Institute for Organic Synthesis and Photoreactivity. He is a contract professor of Physical Chemistry 1: Kinetics in the Chemistry degree program (Bachelor of Science) at the University of Ferrara. He is the author of over 100 publications and two patents.

ResearchPreparation of semiconductor substrates used as photoelectrodes in PEC cells (e.g., TiO2, WO3, SnO2, Fe2O3, BiVO4). Photoelectrochemistry and photoelectrocatalysis. Kinetic study of charge separation and recombination processes at the electrode-solution interface.
