BiographyGraduated in Chemistry from the University of Pavia (2014), with research experience at Utrecht University and ICMAB-CSIC in Barcelona. He obtained a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Athens (2018) within the European MSCA-ITN CycloN Hit project, working at INN-NCSR “Demokritos” and completed secondments at the Hellenic Pasteur Institute (Athens) and CycloLab (Budapest). He worked in the R&D laboratory of Steroid Spa until 2020, when he was awarded a MSCA-IF project at ISOF-CNR in Bologna, during which he carried out a secondment at CarboHyde (Budapest) and received the Junior Research Prize in Organic Chemistry applied to Life Sciences (2023). Since 2023 he has been a fixed-term researcher at ISOF and is currently PI of the ORACLE project.

ResearchDesign and synthesis of cyclodextrin-based monomers, oligomers and polymers for the development of supramolecular systems for combinatorial therapies and selective interactions with environmental pollutants and biomarkers; green optimization of thermal and photoinduced synthetic processes.
