Senior scientist at the Institute for Organic Synthesis and Photoreactivity (ISOF-CNR)
Research interests: Chemical and biological mechanism investigations of unstable systems, produced by radiation or photochemistry. Analysis and modelling of complex kinetics systems by using conventional or numerically integrated computer tools. Experienced in Radiation Chemistry studies on various aqueous and organic systems, employing high-energy electron beams (from the accelerator LINAC) or gamma-rays (from 60Co), mainly in time resolved techniques and analysis and modelling of complex kinetics systems by using conventional or numerically integrated computer tools. In charge for GAMMACELL laboratory of ISOF, Mila also carry on irradiations of materials and devices for some companies and agencies.
Aside from scientific activity, Mila is highly involved in science dissemination and popularization of the scientific culture
