ISOF researchers maintain a long-standing collaboration with the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), a global company specializing in the organization and management of trade shows, events, and conferences. This partnership is particularly focused through IEG’s branch PROSTAND, which operates a dedicated observatory (Osservatorio nuovi Allestimenti) monitor and discover new technologies relevant to the exhibition industry.
Contributions to Rimini Trade Shows
CNR researchers have significantly contributed to scientific dissemination events at two major IEG-organized trade shows held in Rimini:
ECOMONDO: This is a leading international trade fair in Europe for the green and circular economy. It focuses on technologies, services, and solutions for the ecological transition. Each year, ECOMONDO attracts more than 100,000 attendees and 1,700 exhibitors from 120 countries.
KEY – The Energy Transition Expo: An international exhibition dedicated to renewable energy and energy transition technologies. It serves as a crucial forum for sustainable energy solutions, including renewables, energy efficiency, and smart grids. The exhibition features more than 1,000 exhibitors from 50 different countries.
