This year, the magnificent tradition of the “Christmas Lecture” organized by our institute ISOF, returns in presence. The event is scheduled for December 6th 2022 in the beautiful plenary room of our Research Area in Bologna. We will have the pleasure to host Prof. Luigi Nicolais that will give us an overview of values and generation model to create new business opportunity by supporting innovative solutions in the field of Advanced Materials. Prof. L. Nicolais boasts a long and brilliant career as professor, scientist and politician, as well. Emeritus Professor of Polymer Technology and Materials Science and Technology at the Federico II Univerity of Naples and Director of the Dept. of Materials and Production Engineering, he also joined the Dept. of Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington and Connecticut at Storrs. In the CNR, he was founder and Director of the Institute for Composite and Biomedical Materials . Authors of more than 600 publications in international journals and 50 patents in the field of new technologies and advanced materials. In 2016 he founded Materias® where he currently acts as President.
