What if playing a game could help you understand science better?
This is the question behind “Change the Game Research in Play”, an event taking place on May 13 in Rome, at the Aula Marconi of the CNR. It will be a moment to celebrate, what was born four years ago with a simple idea: bringing research closer to people through play.
The initiative is part of the CHANGEGAME project (https://www.changegame.cnr.it), funded by CNR within the Research@CNR Projects call and coordinated by CNR-ISOF.
Over the years, the project has grown into a vibrant network of researchers experimenting with games as tools to communicate science, engage students, and open new conversations with society.
The event will showcase how game-based approaches can transform science communication into something more interactive. It will also highlight how these methods have been used to train both researchers and teachers, creating a shared space where learning becomes a two-way exchange.

Whether you are curious about science communication, interested in innovative teaching, or just wondering how games can change the way we learn, this event is an invitation to explore.
