BiographyBachelor's degree in Chemistry and Materials Chemistry (2021) and Master's degree in Chemistry with a curriculum in synthetic methodologies and bio-organic chemistry (2023), both obtained at the University of Bologna. He worked for one year at ISOF as a research fellow (2024) and is currently a second-year PhD student in Nanoscience for Medicine and the Environment at the University of Bologna. He conducts his research activity at ISOF, within the group of Dr. Manuela Melucci.

ResearchDesign and synthesis of thiophene-based π-conjugated molecules, study of optoelectronic properties and application in the photodegradation and sensing of emerging contaminants in water; functionalization of graphene oxide for the sensing and removal of pollutants in water.
