BiographyJessica Groppi completed Master’s Degree in Chemistry (2010) at Università di Parma. In 2011, she moved to UK to pursue her PhD in Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London. After completing her PhD, she joined the group of Prof. Alberto Credi at the Center for Light Activated Nanostructures, first as a post-doctoral fellow at Università di Bologna (2016) and later as a post-doctoral associate at Instituto per la Sintesi Organica e Fotoreattività (2018). Since 2021, she has been a permanent researcher at ISOF-CNR in Bologna.

ResearchDesign, synthesis, and characterization of (supra)molecular systems that respond to external stimuli such as light, electrochemical, and chemical inputs. The goal is the development of functional materials for applications in energy conversion, catalysis, and medicine.
