BiographyBarbara Ventura obtained a Master’s degree cum laude in Chemistry in 1997 and a PhD in Biochemistry in 2002 from the University of Bologna. Researcher at ISOF-CNR since 2008, she became research director in 2021. Her research deals with the optical characterization of materials and molecular and supramolecular systems for collection and conversion of solar energy, photocatalysis and light-induced therapeutic approaches. She has published more than 130 papers on ISI journals and is involved in several national and international projects.
