| Attività di ricerca orientata verso il settore della Chimica Organica-Fisica, con particolare attenzione allo studio dei radicali liberi organici e della loro reattività mediante tecniche spettroscopiche (spettroscopia EPR) e la caratterizzazione di prodotti. | |

| • | Coppie ioniche radicaliche tra radicali anioni organici e controioni metallici (alcalini). |
| • | Radicali organometallici centrati ad un elemento del Gruppo 14 (Si, Ge, Sn, Pb): struttura, proprietà, reattività verso sistemi insaturi, loro uso nella sintesi. |
| • | Fotocromismo: Studi rivolti ad evidenziare il ruolo di specie radicaliche nei processi fotocromatici ed a chiarire il meccanismo dei processi degradativi dei fotocromi. |
| • | Reazioni di trasferimento monoelettronico coinvolgenti specie radicaliche in sistemi organici. |
| • | Spin Trapping: Progettazione e sintesi di nuovi intrappolatori di radicali, studi EPR meccanicistici e cinetiche delle reazioni di intrappolamento. |
