RAD²POL - RADiation & RADical POLymerisation
RAD²POL team is a member of the CNR Molecular Design Department. It carries out basic as well as applicative researches exploiting its wide and diverse know-how in the chemistry of the radical processes.
Research subjects include:
•
Controlled and/or living radical polymerisation;
•
Radiation induced polymerisation of functional monomers;
•
ESR spectroscopy and pulse radiolysis;
•
Benefical applications of ionising radiation to environmental, health and foodstuffs issues;
•
Irradiation technologies.
