2011-2014: Researcher at the Laboratory MIST E-R (Laboratorio di Micro e Submicro Tecnologie abilitanti dell’Emilia-Romagna). Experience in synthesis, characterization and integration in bioelectronic devices of inorganic nanoparticles (hydrotalcite and gold). Preparation of nanostructured substrates (two-dimensional films) with different deposition techniques. Determination of the integration processes of inorganic nanoparticles with biomaterials and biopolymers, for obtaining advanced and multifunctional hybrid materials.
2010-2011: Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Perugia. Synthesis and functionalization of lamellar solid in forms of nanoparticles and their conjugation with natural protein fibers.
2009: Visiting student at the University of Massachusetts. Supervisor: Prof. Vincent. M. Rotello. Effect of serum proteins on the cellular uptake of differently functionalized gold nanoparticles.
