Dr. Ilse Manet

Personal data and background

My name is Ilse Manet and I was born in Sint-truiden (Belgium) on December 17, 1970. I married Stefano Micocci on July 27, 1996 in the beautiful church of Zepperen (Belgium). In 1998 our first child, Lize, was born, in 2001 followed by Matteo and finally in 2004 Jonas arrived. The five of us are living in Marano near Bologna.

These are my studies:

Classical education at the secondary school from 1982-88;
Graduate Degree Magna cum Laude in Chemistry achieved in July 1992 at the Catholic University of Leuven (B) discussing the thesis "Luminescence properties of lanthanide ions in supramolecular species";
PhD. Degree in Chemical Sciences, University of Bologna, May 1998 discussing the dissertation entitled "Luminescent molecular devices";
