  • The Institute of Carbon Compounds containing Heteroatoms and their Applications (ICoCEA - Istituto dei Composti del Carbonio contenenti Eteroatomi e loro Applicazioni);
  • The Institute of Photochemistry and High-Energy Radiation (FRAE - Istituto di Fotochimica e Radiazioni ad Alta Energia);
  • The Centre for the Study of the Physics of Macromolecules (Centro di Studio per la Fisica delle Macromolecole) in the Dept. of Chemistry "G. Ciamician", at the University of Bologna;
  • The Centre for the Study of Photochemistry and Catalysis (Centro di Studio su Fotochimica e Catalisi) in the Dept. of Chemistry at the University of Ferrara.

Director: Dott. Roberto Zamboni

The Institute has its main centre in the CNR Bologna Research Area 1 with a separate site in Ferrara 2.
